he looked like a QB who took one too many hits in the pocket and was starting to feel pressure that wasn't there. those early traps and ball pressure had him shellshocked and made him pick up his dribble out on the perimeter later in the game when the Heat had eased up on him. hopefully its not something that carries over because his body language looked pretty bad.

No doubt he got schooled last night, and the wheels came off. The Heat had a plan and executed it well. But the Knicks are merely their latest victim in this run of 8 games won by double digits. Hopefully it came at a good time, heading into the All-Star break, and he and the Knicks can learn from this. I was surprised that the Knicks kept it as close as they did, given how poorly he played. Novak's threes helped them hang around for longer than they should have. They still have a lot of work to do to integrate the parts, and Lin will have adjustments to make now that he is on the scouting reports of the teams they will face. I think he will use this to get better and improve the weaknesses in his game, but time will tell.
Oh I agree, he will be fine. I just don't think he will be able to match up with Miami and what they can do to attack him. Of course if Miami is healthy no one is going to be able to match up with them over seven games so this isn't an "end of the world" type of thing.
