He wouldn’t have been the physical monster that he is if he played in the 80’s. He’d have been great, but not as good. He would have been skinnier, wouldn’t have shot the ball as well and he would have been guarded with hand checking. Probably, a lot like Magic physically but with more explosiveness and less innate feel for the game.

My theory is that many if not most people will never forgive him for “The Decision” — the way he rolled it out and the decision itself to join his banana boat buddies rather than shoulder the load himself.

Personally, he won me over when he went back to Cleveland and did just that: put the team on his back and win a title. I think he’s also matured a lot over the years. For as much as he’s in the spotlight, he operates with class.

You don’t have to like him, but if you can’t recognize that what he’s doing at 40 in a league based on athleticism is so far beyond what we’ve ever seen from any other athlete, then you’re a hater.

I don’t root for LeBron. (Probably vs the Warriors was the only times I ever have.) But I respect the heck out of him.

What he’s doing is incredible no doubt, Brady-ish to say the least (and they both flopped and whined too lol). The argument for goat is there although not with me.

But he’s just not a great guy. Good guy overall yep but thinks he’s more important than who he actually is. The NBA has to have an in season tournament in order to get people like him to play close to a full season. He gets his average at best son drafted in a ridiculous move and selfish as well.

Other than that great guy:confused:

I don't even think it's so much Lebron himself it's the media. The algorithm of Lebron click bait gets shoved in your face. The Lebron stans are just as annoying as the Lebron haters it's the case with anyone.

Maybe if the sports media covered more sports instead of breaking news on Lebron's thoughts on the day he would have less haters, it is what it is click bait articles generate traffic it's what the media wants.

But he asks for it doesn’t he? Then report it. Sorry he gets what he deserves.

Michaels issues gambling and such, otherwise he wasn’t too concerned about letting us know all of this thoughts same with the likes of Tiger. This guy wants to be the center of attention therefore why not report it?

Seriously. People throw around ‘generational’ a bit too much in sports but generational does not really capture how dominant of an athletic specimen LeBron is. You can drop peak lebron in whatever time period you want and he’s easily the most dominant athlete.

That's true he certainly doesn't help himself in that regard, I doubt he cares either, but it is funny to see people constantly cry for him as if they know him personally.

That’s fine but it’s the likely reality. 6’9” guys weren’t directed to shoot tons of 3’s and players weren’t bulking up and using steroids back then. It was a different time and Lebron would have gone with the times. It has nothing to do with Lebron as a player or person, just the game and training of those days. Also, I compared him to Magic, I didn’t say he’d be Bill Laimbeer.

The first multitalented swing man I recall really bulking up was Pippen and I don’t think he did it naturally. Magic, Bird, McHale, Dominique Wilkins and Jordan were lean and wiry because that’s what players were back then.

Yeah the guy who just passed Stockton for most career regular season games definitely doesn't play enough

First time I've ever checked out his social media. Yep, he still sucks...
