We already knew he was special. Thanks Steph for showing other one and done players that choosing the right school makes all the difference.

And although he is not Curry they have to respect his three point shot and his all around game is second too none in this rookie class.

5 games in October: 10% 3P
8 games in November: 33.3% 3P
Last 3 games: 50% (6-12)

If he can hover around 33+% for the whole season, it'll open up the whole floor for him even more

The highlights don't show it, but he also had a slick euro-step type move along the baseline. He destroyed the defender to get a 2 foot bunny that he missed. It was just as nice as his last drive and finish. The thing about the baseline play is that the defender probably thought 'there is no way Steph is going to try me from here...'

I know everyone here loves and loved Castle, but I have to take victory laps when he’s already playing like this. I was loving last night confidently knocking down 3s and attacking the rim. This is my exact vision of how he’d play in an ideal situation.

He’s adjusting well in every way as far as not being scared of the moment, defending, passing and playmaking. But I also wasn’t as worried about his offense as others. He was less than great from 3 last year, but he had limited usage and was 18-19 years old.

He’s gonna be really good as that J keeps gaining confidence.

He has looked extremely confident and is making the most of his time in the starting lineup. He is too good a player for his 3 point shooting percentage to stay in the 20’s%. Love how he and Clingan are really starting to impress.

Nobody has more focus and resolve that Stephon Castle. He will maximize his potential because of his unwavering focus. I'd love to see him mentor James Bouknight in terms of approach to the game.

Lebron has played so long that Donyell was his teammate and one of his good friends on the Cavs. Remember Donyell brought him to the Marquette game in 06 aka the Novak game.

Lebron saw Calhoun front and center when at one of the most pissed off times. I'll never forget Calhoun ripping the ball out of Marcus Williams hands on a dead ball. We looked unbeatable after that game.

His ability to finish around the basket always seemed to be at another level. If he drove, the ball was going in.
There’s been two guys that spoiled us with just automatic offense in the paint that I can remember. They are Sanogo and Castle. Just absolute money around the rim. It was so good for my nerves having those guys on the roster.

Castle looks good. He should watch CP3 attention to detail as a PG. CP3 is a PIA, but he is an absolute near perfect PG if you had to draw one up.

He went at 3 players in that clip and the way he floats in the air allows him to adjust to everything that comes at him.

Makes him impossible to stop.

Trying to remember the last guy we had who similarly floated in the air like that, and I only came up with one name: Jalen Adams.

Incredible talent. I was an Ollie backer but between Jalen and Ollie, man-- what a huge opportunity missed to develop and become spectacular.

Will people here now like LeBron?

So by Dec he should be at about 66%?

So so glad Castle went to San Antonio, and not at all surprised by his quick adjustment to the NBA there. A solid organization with a great coach, and a team I’m not uncomfortable rooting for. Plus they have enough talent on the floor so he’s not overloaded with responsibility too soon.
(It also makes me wonder if/how Bouk’s career trajectory might’ve been different if he had gone there instead of Charlotte…)

Yeah I noticed that, too. That's why REB1094's post above makes so much sense. If Castle can keep his defenders and the defense honest with his 3 pt shooting, the ceiling will be very high for his career.
