Hopefully some of the other games can be more competitive. No need to go 100% and get injured, but it would be nice to not be playing a glorified high school team. Hard to take much out of a 70 point blow out.

Either way it's a nice vacation and the extra practices make it all worth it.
Still good to run sets with so many new players and see how the players react to the defensive concepts

This was more about bonding and seeing how all of these parts will work for the upcoming season, especially after 3 key leaders from the title team moved on to the next level. I so wish I have the funds and time to head over to the Riv to watch the Huskies have some fun. Check out the millionaires at the casino in Monaco, take a dip in Antibes, maybe even go inland for some hiking, wine tasking, and eating in Aix. Don’t even need a car.

One thing sticks out. The starters were 14-23 on 3 point shots, the bench 3-16.
Of note.
Clingan perfect from the floor 6-6.
Karaban 5-7 from the arc.
Johnson 8 boards.
Spenser 6 assists.
Castle 5 steals.

A box score against the UConn intramural champions would make for a better look on how players are playing.

This wasn't even a good scrimmage.

This has to be the biggest win margin so far of all the teams playing outside the country during this time.

The games are scrimmages - the competition is bad. UConn practices against better talent daily. Not important, though.

The practice and the team building are so much more important. I’d argue that the team improved more hanging out together on that yacht in Monaco than they did today in France.

Here's hoping some of them will be able to afford a yacht in a few years.

True but if we lost it would be suicide watch on the BY.

Looks like Loyola Chicago beat this team by 6 last year.

(Caveats: Loyola Chicago wasn't very good, had some travel issues and a quick turnaround, and one or two of their better players didn't play).
