Damn this would be a great pick up... IMO the type of player who can jump on the floor immediately, not your average freshman

We aren't looking heavily considered and it appears Oregon has the advantage as of now. Also I'm not too sure about his ability to have an impact right away. We've seen many so called shooters fail to do so in their freshman year.

He shouldve been playing this year. He got another year now of just improving.. Kids pretty good but would be surprised if hes not leaning to oregon still. Most likely will come down to playing time per usual

Yeah, but what's the point!? After a terrible first three games here, he'll be verbally abused on the Yard as a bust, only to come on strong in the next few games and then be labeled as a sure 1st first rounder, maybe even a lottery pick by the end of his freshman year! ;)
Its called Boneyard hazing.

Oregon is/was the leader - not sure if Lyles changes that. Maryland was also doing well.

You mean Tyler Dorsey? Jaquan Lyle was a commit last year but was denied admittance to the school.

Dorsey, I'm sorry.

Lyle just committed to Ohio State.

when we say we're not in it, does that mean he said no to UConn?

Or that UConn never targeted the kid (for whatever reason).

Lastly does it mean it would be a waste of time to pursue now that he is free?

Cryptic updates are great and some people make board cred by extra secret code saying they know. As if the 10 percent chance we clearly have isn't great. We are always on the list. Always a chubby bridesmaid.

Didn't Sonny Corleone have a use for chubby bridesmaids.

Kobe Eubanks on his final five schools: "They all have a huge need for a big scoring guard and that's exactly what I am."
