Haven't heard anything about Josh Perkins' visit to UCONN yet. Will update as soon as I hear something.

My best guess is that, being in Colorado, the Perkins' are operating in the Mountain time zone, so they are a couple hours behind us. Thinking we could hear something no later than 2AM, but that's just a stab in the dark.

I don't get the visit to UConn issue. If he is serious about UConn then it's pretty simple setting up a visit. If he doesn't want to come then he's not interested. Am I missing something?

Certainly sounds like he already knows he wants to go to Gonzaga.

I don't think this kid ever had any real intention of leaving the west coast. It was interesting that the glowing comments about Uconn/Ollie always came from his father, not Josh himself.

I don't understand the need to be so mysterious about it on their end, if you don't want to make the visit and UConn isn't in contention, just say so. On the other hand, I guess this continues on with the smoke and mirrors stuff his Dad has done with his recruitment, apparently he was trying to get the main writer for the UCLA Rivals site to say that he was taking a visit to UK when that was never the case since UK had dropped their interest in him.

Seems pretty clear that Perkins is not going to UCONN. Seting up a visit is easy and he hasn;t done it b/c he's not really considering us. Its down to 'Zaga, Minn, and UCLA. Our best PG hope really looks like Snyder which I am perfectly fine with. Its unfortunate that we have to wait so long for that visit to happen (Sept. 20 or so). We need to seal the deal w/ a PG soon as they will start to drop soon and we don;t want to be left holding an empty bag.
