This one is a no-brainer. Remove PB from the stat sheet and they shoot 22% from three, 35% overall. That stretch in the fourth where she couldn’t miss was surreal. She literally scored 19 straight points.

However, as always, Ash is a BA with her intensity and hustle. Also, clearly she’s tough as nails, especially after seeing her head hit the floor. Glad to see her back at it and her head and neck were OK.

I usually look for an unsung player, but Paige looked like a video game cheat code in the second half. I can't see how anyone could think she's not the best player in the country. Nice of her to give (deserved) credit to Jana for a number of excellent picks to set up open shots.

Paige had an amazing game. it really was a thing of beauty. Again, she was unguardable.

But Shade got body slammed by a behemoth sat on the floor a moment gathered to herself, and then kept playing. That, my friends, is badass.

Ash did everything one could do to earn the badass award. Unfortunately it was in a game when Paige hit shot after shot after shot and personally assured UConn would win. So Paige. Ash's performance does earn her first dibs on an ice bath.

Player of the game is what Paige did tonight. Badass is what Ashlynn did tonight. One tough cookie! Been there done that in the days before concussion protocol. I hope she can shed any after facts of her going down so quick it looked like the floor coming up.

My badass award goes to Paige. She was on fire!! Paige showed the world, and anyone with doubts why she is a goat. Paige set a NCAA record with her 40 points...that's as badass as it gets!!
