My badass award goes to Aaliyah, Azzi, Lou and Nika. Honable mention Aubrey. Azzi with another 32 point game. Aaliyah and Lou with 20 points each. Aaliyah also was a defensive beast. Aubrey was a blocking and stealing beast, and Nika with her record 15 assists. What an amazing game by them!!!!

Nika. As much as I loved how Aubrey was insane in the opening minutes and played a great all around game, a new single game assist record isn't bad at all. Not with accomplished predecessors like CD, MJ, and Sue amongst several others.

I agree w Tony. This was AE’s best game as a Husky. She dominated the boards ( 12 rebounds—next best was Nika w 6) and add to that 20 points, most in traffic under the boards and 4 assists. Aubrey and Nika also had their best games but AE was tough as nails today.
 
The starting five. Team effort. How about Nika and NEW Uconn assist record. Azzi was her normal self. Aubrey was a tornado, all over the place with 6 steals. Lou and Edwards fills out the rast of the game. ONE OF THE GREATEST TEAM EFFORT I HAVE EVER SEEN. Definitely all five are the Badasses. GO HUSKIES!!!

Edwards and Muhl. With Dorka out, Aaliyah really gave us the inside D, while Nika did the same on the outside.
 
We had bad ass efforts by all 5 starters. I won’t try to choose the biggest one but I’m just happy for Nika and Aubrey especially. They were the biggest influences on how the game played out.
 
I have to go with the gnat, better known as Nika, she was responsible for 35 points of the 91 scored, 32 off the assists with the and one by Lou, plus her 3 pointer. Then she had 15 of the teams 22 assists, tied for 2nd on the team with 6 rebounds, tied for second on the team steals with 2, with only 3 of the teams 14 T/O's in 39 minutes of play. She did all this with an attitude that showed and her assists to T/O ratio was outlandish at 5-1.

Bah, I could only give this 1 "like". Otherwise I would still be hitting the "like" button. Having said that, a whole bunch get honorable mention. Picking who comes in second is splitting hairs, arguing how many angels dance on the head of a pin, etc.

When did we think that Aubrey would be among the leaders vying for the baddass award in any game? We didn't know if she had recovered from her injuries and having sat out for a year. But what a revelation, defensive intensity, speed, head among the trees; a joy to behold, a major impact on this game.
 
The whole teamwas great and on any other night Aubrey Azzi,lou and AE could have easily won it but to set an assist record with all the AA pgs Uconn has had there can be no doubt it has to be NIKA !!!!
