Most people who say they live in KC live in Missouri.
Does that actually matter to some people?

I can't believe you are using the fact that you live in Kansas as a flex.

Wait until you find out that we have cows. I’m not sure claiming some significant insight about a land grant university with a school of agriculture having a corn field is the Winning argument you think. So does Penn State, Ohio State, Michigan State, K State and every other such school.
Mostly Mission Hills, a few other Johnson County towns, some near KU and KState, some Wichita aeronautical types, and some massive farm owners??? Otherwise …???Not the smart ones
We meant "UConn" so yes, that was my point.UConn is literally an ag school too.

My Uncle's log cabin house in the Flint Hills might remind some of the house in Yellowstone. The people aren’t any dumber or smarter than any other place else in the United States on the whole in the metro area.
And many of the “rural” areas are quite a bit more affluent than most people realize.

Wait, Canadian teams get to vote too?Cuse doesnt want us either
It's only worth about 87% of a full vote.Wait, Canadian teams get to vote too?
If Fishy was referring only to non-ag Houston, UCF, and Cincy, then he was way off the mark. It's a pretty safe bet that the presidents of those schools aren't looking out their windows at cornfields. They're located in rather large urban areas.Nah, he said that about Houston UCF and Cincinnati. None of whom are AG schools.
You might want to make that K-State. Or Oklahoma State.I'll play. Fishy was being metaphorical with a dash of hyberbole. The "view" is from 30,000 feet. Draw a circle with a radius of say 150-200 miles around Storrs and compare that to Kansas.

Such a pyrrhic victory for those clowns. They both would be so much better off as part of a northeast triangle with UConn in the ACC.All because BC doesn’t like UConn...

No, Fishy was being dismissive with more than a dash of parochial hubris.I'll play. Fishy was being metaphorical with a dash of hyberbole. The "view" is from 30,000 feet. Draw a circle with a radius of say 150-200 miles around Storrs and compare that to Kansas.
We might have done the same thing if the roles were reversed. I certainly would have reveled in denying them access to the club.I agree with Fishy. I doubt it makes any difference now. They might even welcome us given where they stand right now in the ACC. But, DeFilipo and BC scuttled UCONN early on and it was out of pure ignorance. Flipper was not a business person and a very insecure guy. All he saw was a formidable competitor rather than a regional partner. Very shortsighted........
