Lmao of course it’s just Colorado. Why do I still torture myself with hope?
Disagree that no B12 invite would be a kick to the nuts or somehow worse than previous times. Unlike past times, the school is not in dire need of a move and a move to the B12 would be a good but imperfect solution. UConn is not on a sinking ship in football and certainly is not in basketball. Independent is also imperfect, but is a viable option for the near future. It's also apparent that any move made by the B12 now would not be the final round of moves in the coming years.
We should be used to this by now. Our role in conference realignment is to be the perennial baitLmao of course it’s just Colorado. Why do I still torture myself with hope?
Ultimately, it won't just be Colorado. They don't want 13 teams. The question becomes who is team 14 or who are teams 14, 15, and 16.Lmao of course it’s just Colorado. Why do I still torture myself with hope?
Let go man, it’s over.Ultimately, it won't just be Colorado. They don't want 13 teams. The question becomes who is team 14 or who are teams 14, 15, and 16.
This is hilarious
lol im the one who just got flamed for saying it wouldnt be horrible if we don't get an invite. im only saying here that in the end CU wont be the only team added. gun to my head, we don't get an invite and they bring over 1-3 more Pac schools. this would not be the end of the world for UConn.Let go man, it’s over.
This is setting up for an epic kick in the nuts.

The only hope we have is B12 wants a more eastern presence vs. all West Coast. After all, I am sure Cincy, WVU, and UCF have something to be said about that. If UCONN has already been approved pro-rata, we should be an easy add to balance out the conference with all the PAC-12 schools.Sources: Colorado Leaving Pac-12 to Join Big 12

Colorado is leaving the Pac-12 to return to the Big 12, sources told Action Network.
The Buffaloes will formally apply for Big 12 membership on Thursday, when the Big 12’s Board of Directors will approve the Buffs to begin Big 12 play in 2024, sources said.
An announcement is expected Thursday, pending official approval from the school’s Board of Regents, a source said. CU’s Board of Regents will meet for a second consecutive day on Thursday from 5-6 p.m. ET.
Colorado’s departure for the Big 12 could start an exodus of more Pac-12 schools to the Big 12, sources said. The most likely candidates are Arizona, Arizona State and Utah.
Arizona president Robert Robbins met with Yormark in Houston during the Final Four, sources said. Officials at Arizona State and Utah also have had informal conversations with Big 12 representatives and officials, sources said.

NopeThis sucks. We’re gonna get left behind because of Oregon State or some bum program
Let's think positively regarding this: why would B12 add a second Arizona team is Arizona is in? It makes no sense to the TV networks if they can UCONN on the East Coast vs. a second Arizona team. The same can be said for UTAH when B12 already has BYU. Let's hope these B12 presidents think of the bigger picture vs. just adding schools because they got the P5 label. According to multiple sources, UCONN has already been approved by the media partners to be paid pro-rata for the media deal. If that's true, we should be evaluated on equal footing with rest of the PAC-12 teams.Losing to the second most relevant school in Arizona is gonna brutal.
You are a light at the end of a dark tunnel. Let's hope you are right. Many UCONN fans gonna be buying you drinks if we are invited.Nope
Where is Chief?
It does mention in the next paragraph that interest and talk between Arizona and the Big 12 has waned lately and ASU is a factor in this.Is there a 14th out there? Yormark, an aggressive and calculated former leader of a New York entertainment agency, has targeted UConn as a potential expansion possibility. But the preference among many of his member schools is to first seek another Power Five program. UConn football currently competes as an independent. According to the Big 12’s new TV contract, Power Five expansion additions receive a full pro-rata share of the distribution, which is expected to start around $31 million annually per school.
It wouldn't surprise me if they agreed to stay one more year as a part of the deal to get them reinstated after their premature exit letter.![]()

I'm not buying Colorado being the only moving part in this. Maybe for a tiny bit but a 14th is surely in the works.
SDSU is now in the Pac clearly. Their premature letter has come to fruition.

For a truly national conference, B12 will need UCONN for its New England, NYC, and CT markets. It makes no sense to add a bunch of West Coast teams with multiple in the same state.Yormark wants UConn. He will get what he wants. Gotta be a little more patient guys.
