Key tweets, and it's all gone to Hell.

I took a college course in Early American history, looking at old land records and over flight pictures of the state there are more wooded areas in the state of Connecticut today than there was in the 1700's. All of the farm land is now wooded and not used anymore.

About 60% of the state is forested.
So I just drove over to East Greenwich, RI, last Sunday from Bolton Center. Round trip. Took Route 14, very pretty. I think at least 40-50% of the state is rural.

It’s still a beautiful state in the NothWest, NorthEast and New Haven East Shoreline. The crap storage facility sprawl, B class box commercial space and high density low income housing coupled to subdivision approvals are taking its toll though.

Most of the state is considered urban. About 7% of the state is farm land, and even that number is likely inflated as it's not all preserved meaning it can be parceled off and repurposed as needed.
Litchfield County is the largest county with the smallest population density of the state's 8 counties. It occupies 19% of the state's square miles. Take a day to drive around and enjoy the countryside. Most of the population live in urban areas but I think the rural areas are larger in size.

Relevant to B12 country.

Much of Connecticut has become a wildlife refuge . Growing up a deer was a rare sight for a kid playing in the woods . Now In much of Connecticut you’re apt to see a bear strolling through your back yard . Or for someone used to driving on wide open roads the claustrophobic feeling is unavoidable on narrow winding roads cutting through woodland . I read somewhere that Connecticut is among the most densely forested states in the country . Its probably something locals take for granted but hits you unexpectedly as a visitor

The Big 12 is cattle country. You belong in The B1G.

"The Dairy Barns are located off of Park Avenue, directly across from Beaver Stadium. Approximately 500 animals are housed at the dairy facilities."

That's Beaver Stadium across the street from The Dairy Barns LOL.

Well, that is why I started this thread. The question is, what is your definition of news? Something we have already heard about, Mexico, Harlem, four new members, or something we have not heard yet. My sources have clammed up, giiving me the talks are ongoing and it may still happen routine. Which tells me something may happen soon. I think we can all think of something they MIGHT announce that would be new news.
