Or someone who actually knows more than you do recognizes a familiar troll.

Care to wager whether "her" avatar is a picture of a girl named Gretchen or actually a picture of some model plucked down off the web?

It's not the guy who used to have that groucho marx pic? I think his name was ConnEd or something....

hey jfuchs - how'd you find it so fast? Facial recognition software?

Google Images search.

(I knew the answer before I proposed the wager. I'd rather not lose these things...)

I think you are overstating it (blush) but thank you very much. You are most kind and gracious.

On a message board or online gaming, if someone tries to portray themselves as a female, they're probably a d00d.

Seriously. You know how many nerd friends I got in the IT world that are always chasing the super hot chick that likes to play world of Warcraft? Here's a clue. That's a unicorn.

I don't know why a female can't come here without being mistreated. Dang shame she seemed like a great girl with sports knowledge!! No wonder i don't see many "any" females on these blogs. What a shame.

This is either the most subtle of trolling attempts, or poor Nicky has been deprived of oxygen to the brain. Either way well done.

Can you register with two different handles?

Maybe we all need an alternate personality...

I mean, look, it is so confining to always be a NickyNewark or Billybud.....just our handle name confines and defines us.

Having an alternate like Uptowngirl would allow Nicky to display his softer, totally with it, feminine side....

Can I have Daisyduke?

By that logic, maybe "The Dude" is a female?

This is not ment to offend only ment to give insight.
After observing Whaler and Upstater, endlessly go back and forth on a now forgotten subject I had the strangest image .
It reminded me of the musical adaptation of Jekyll and Hyde.
That show culminates with the lead singing what amounts to a duet with himself.
The lead sings both parts in two different voices ,representing hugely different personalities. But yet they are still the same person even in conflict..
It really is incredible and so taxing on his voice that an understudy is called in on days where there are multiple performances.
If multiple sign ons are allowed the following could be true
Whaler and Upstater could be the same person, or Nicky and Stimp.
Fishy and HFD.
In the last case either good won out over evil or evil over good.
That could be a poll issue.

I can assure you with 100% confidence I am not upstater, nor his opposite.

That I have no feelings about Tom Brady at all is your proof.

If Upstater is passionate about Brady either pro or con.
Would that mean his alter ego was dispassionate or just hold the opposite opinion?
It's either ponder that enigma or take my afternoon nap.
I just walked 3 miles after a big lunch so I think a siesta wins.
