Word, good point! Looking at game logs now. Hard to say a dude is struggling when he is breaking the record for most threes in an NBA game..
 
Quick check shows Ray made all NBA 3rd team once, and 2nd team once. Drummond 3rd team once. I think this firmly establishes Kemba as #2 greatest Husky NBAer.

Rip's title and three All-star bids have gotta put him right up there. Kemba has a long career ahead of him though. Really hope he continues to play well and starts to win more.
 
It possible for everyone to be right. Kemba absolutely deserved this recognition this season. Klay Thompson is an insane talent and without question worthy of a super max deal. The real issue is having 100 dudes in the media have such an impact on a players salary.

Is Kemba on a possible Hall of Fame trajectory? If he ends up a 5x or 6x all-star, top 25 all-time in scoring (very possible), all-NBA, NCAA champion and All-American, he could get a HOF nod for sure. Throw an NBA championship in there and he's probably a lock.

Your right but Kemba started off hot the first on 7 games and the rest of season averaging 25.6 ppg on .43% fg 35% 3 point fg and 4.4 reb 5.5 ast. With Klay stats you forgot to put 3.8 reb 2.4 ast
For career they both average about the same about 20ppg 4 reb kemba 6 ast klay 2.3 ast. Just Klahy gets the recognition cus he is on a super team and kemba has no help. Jordan is the second best player on Charlotte and he don't play anymore.

He's the #3 scoring option but overall he is closer to being the fourth best player on his team than he is being the second best player on his team.

You could objectively say he doesn’t deserve either accomplishment...and still sAy he’s not overrated In General.

But it is arguable his season has been overrated.

He’s 8th for vorp, 13 in bpm, and 5th in win shares.

He’s also 13th in defensive rating, 5th in defensive win share, and not even in the top 20 in dbpm

The 3 DPOY finalists really should’ve been Stifle Tower, Drummond, and Greek Freak, IMO.
