Kansas Post Game Thread

We've all seen bad losses. (One of the worst was in that very building.) This wasn't one of them. Having a chance to beat #5 KU in the last possession on their home floor? I would have taken that.

Not making any excuses based on personnel & health, but I will say that I like our chances against KU on a neutral court later in the season.

I think that wipe out was in Kansas City not Fogg
That and the Kerry Kittles masterpiece on our own floor are the only blowout loses I can remember .

The numbers look decent, but it was very inefficient.

AK coming off a very good freshman season, I think all of us expect more.

Terrible FT shooting and great D by KU that completely disrupted us. We had our chances. AFH is next to impossible to come away with a victory. We will bounce back strong against NC

There were some no calls but they generally just let the guys play. The atmosphere played more of a role than the refs.

I will always take a swallowed whistle over a worn out one…and tonight was that.

Outside of the AK foul on the alley oop, the officiating was pretty much fair for me.

We didn’t get that rim runner wild card this game that Donovan brought last year and Samson has been for us so far this year. Team will learn big time from this.

I also really hope we can get Kansas in Storrs soon. That would be awesome.

Karaban hate is weird. He was fine. Never trusted anyone more to hit an open 3.

He didn’t play well until the two minutes before he fouled out. The possession that we are blaming in Diarra dribbling was caused by a terrible pass by Karaban as well.

Overall not a terrible loss. Had a chance to win on a last possession shot in a tough road environment. Can’t ask for more.

We should’ve won. But I thought to myself right before Cam missed the potential game winner, “man, this is fun.” Just an awesome game to watch and it feels great that we get to experience these types of games.

Not worried in the least. We’ll be the better team come March. And the guys showed real heart and grit tonight. Proud of em.

Not even a little better and that's not hating on Samson. He looked lost in the first half.

Box score is still messed up. They have UConn with 10 offerensive rebounds. Had eight.

We really could use Stewart or Ross to gain Hurleys trust. They are both athletic and have good size. He is the HC and I trust there is a reason they are not playing, but our success long term depends on one of the wings to pick it up and play well enough in practice to earn pt.

Winnable game. Karaban needs to get himself engaged in the game more consistently. Disappeared for a while tonight.

Karaban 's offense is off of catch and shoot 3s, Texas game notwithstanding. Kansas's pressure and switching negated a lot of that.
