He fouled out and was 2/7 from 3, 4/11 overall. We need to expect better from him.
If he's a 1st round pick.

Has to shoot better. Especially when he is a defensive liability.

Kansas is trash. All the home cooking and the slow start was too much to overcome. Some guys could also play better. Anyways, I’m drunk, signing off from the west coast. We are still top dogs

TN could be an all American if he keeps playing like this. The nba talent evaluators need to figure out that he -Kay’s better the tougher the competition. He was the best player on the floor.

Kansas did a great job disrupting UConn's spacing and took advantage of spacing on their end with some easy buckets

We never established an inside presence, probably because they were concerned about Clingan getting into foul trouble

Newton was unconscious out there. The guy is just a leader, without him, we'd have been blown out

The no calls were disgusting, but not surpring. Still has an opportunity to steal this game

Hurley contained his emotions

Hope there are no lingering injuries

Very curious to see if this team responds against UNC

I’m not sure which half was worse, the tournament in 2016 vs Kansas or this one tonight

People mad that Cam took that shot are crazy… 4 seconds left and the ball is passed to him in the corner. What other options does he have?

It was a great look, but his foot clearly had an impact on him all game. Pretty gutsy effort out of him to tough this one out.

Tristen Newton is our best player, that is abundantly clear. He is the only one who played well.

That was mistake by Hurley to have Cam take that potential game winning 3 at the end. Newton had the hot hand and it should have been Newton to take that shot.

Spencer, Karaban, and Clingan struggle against super athletic teams. We have a lack of athleticism and foot speed.

PS: We lost a lot of athleticism from last years team and it shows.
How is it Hurley’s fault? They didn’t call a timeout. Tristen decided to pass on his own. I wish he kept the ball, or passed it earlier to have a chance to get it back.

That said, also somewhat impressive that Tristen while having such a monster game has the confidence in Cam to share the ball.

Can't blame the loss on the refs but the timing of a couple of those calls killed us. The blown call of the ball of Dickinson and the one they called off Diarra that the replay clearly showed the Kansas defender didn't even touch the ball. He pulled Hassan's arm backwards. Easy foul call. Instead it's a turnover with about a minute to go. We needed that possession.

6 and half left we had 4 point lead and the ball. We score and they are feeling pressure. We ended up with a late shot clock Diarra corner three. They score and then another late a hit clock shot by Ball then they hit a three. Down 1.

That was the turning point.

No one is claiming a moral victory...just pointing out that we shouldn't be alarmed because we lost by 4 to Kansas in Kansas...in Decemeber.
We could have won the game we were up. Lots of people are already saying great game let’s get the next one

We had this game.

Imagine hitting just half of the missed freebies, and those 2 or 3 shifty ref calls where UConn still had possession.

And yet... im smiling.
Because we still could have (even should have) won. This. Game.
Didn't like seeing Cam and DC injured.

Was a fun game and would love a home and home if they're really about it.
Holy crap we're a good program/team/ and have a great coach. Kansas played hard blah blah. But yeah. This made the Huskies stronger regardless.

They didn’t have any timeouts, so I’m glad we didn’t do a Chris Webber.
