Yes. If he slapped a player that would be a very different story

He should be fired. The finger pointing was bad, but that smack could be considered assault these days. Not smart.

The person hit with the punch was the victim of battery, and could bring a civil suit against Howard. It was not an accidental slap or just a push. Howard clearly threw a punch, and Howard could be subject to criminal charges.

Don't know who the recipient of the punch was, but I hope he was not hurt badly. Gard backed away after the exchange with Howard and Howard despite efforts to hold him back, lunged forward trying to find Gard to punch him.

I see what you are saying, but I don’t agree. This is a really bad look for him or anyone for that matter.
