Maybe Cremo wants a school where the coaching staff has been in place for a while and is a known quantity. Could be as simple as him not wanting the uncertainty that could come with being at a program in a "transitional" year, during his last season.

I read that as the narrative is we're in on Lecque and feel pretty good about it, otherwise we would've pushed harder for Cremo. Bfield then says that narrative is accurate.

where does it say that there is any interest in Lecque in coming to Uconn? I dont seem to be able to find any. On Verbal Commits it says there is medium interest in Uconn, but also 39 other schools have the same medium interest in him.

It's funny you mention that. I was talking with an AAU director earlier this week, trying to get a sense of our interest in Brendon Adams, and he said that same sentiment about Hurley.

Clear he has a plan, but he is very different about how he goes about his business especially when compared to our last staff.
