I'm sorry but if you're a professional who is using twitter on his employer's dime, keep your personal stuff out of it. If it's related to sports in any way (even tangentially) that's fine. But the guy is preaching about God on ESPN on every other post. I feel the same way about Jay Bilas quoting rap songs. Or Peter King writing about the best latte of the week. I hate this new trend. The fact that it's on twitter (as opposed to, say, an email) doesn't make it alright. You're still on the company dime.
Again, if it has to do with sports, you can get as personal and anecdotal as you possibly want. Although I can't stand Bill Simmons either, he actually manages to stay inside the line (though I know his analogies to pop culture are twisted, they are still attempts to talk about sports).
