I believe that UConn CAN BE the top ranked team in the Northeast. I think Penn State is the top, but we can be as good as they are and maybe in some years better, but Rutgers, The Fruit, BCU can be beaten in recruiting and games...
Keep dreaming. We have so much work to do in football before we even get close to BCU or Syracuse. Maybe Rutgers we can win a few battles. But Penn State?

"In a somewhat surprising development, defensive line coach Shaun Nua has been hired by USC to the same position. We hadn't really heard anything that suggested Nua would be looking around, but he's a west coast lifer and Lincoln Riley is a very popular dude out in L.A. right now.

Now, Michigan must replace him. And they might have their new guy on staff already. Defensive analyst Ryan Osborn has been praised all year as a guy who helped out in many areas, including along the defensive line and with the linebackers, and as a recruiter. If Jim Harbaugh wants to keep the positive culture that clearly played a huge role in the team's success this year, Osborn would be a great move. The players love him, he's young, he's energetic and, perhaps most importantly, he's familiar with everything.

It's also worth noting that he's definitely gotten to where's he's at by paying his dues. He's been a cornerbacks coach, a special teams coordinator, a wide receivers coach, a video coordinator, the director of football operations and more at several small schools over the last 13 years, which shows that he's a worker. Hiring him as the new defensive line coach would be a good move from a continuity standpoint and from a culture standpoint. Harbaugh brought in a bunch of new guys this past year and it worked. Osborn was a part of that and would be a nice, stable piece on the staff if he were promoted. "

Guess it depends on whether khaki pants stays in AA or heads off to NFL.

I can't imagine he would go back to the NFL..but if he did...imagine the dominoes that will start falling again. Unless they hire internal.

Pehrson has followed Kelsea Winkle ( Director of On-campus recruiting for USC) who is also being followed by the DOF, Allen, and Davidson and Kennedy Harvey ( Assistant director of On-campus recruiting at Liberty) who is also being followed by Allen

Mike Ryan also listed as a defensive analyst. Could that be former Husky OL Mike Ryan? He’s currently at U Maine…
He is not listed anymore but they did have him listed with the email of another analyst. He recently got a follow from Hilliard and was replaced at DC at Maine on the 7th

Honestly a very important hire. Our graphics and social media presence has been so poor.
Good point. we need to give our influencers something to work with.

It appears that there is now only two strength and conditioning assistants listed so it looks like a replacement could come soon for the third member who has been removed

Shows a (financial) commitment to the program at an appropriate level. By doing so, you have a talking point to recruits, players and staff, while taking ammo away from the shut-it-down crew.
In all honesty, do you really think that a recruit cares how much the coaches make? I would hope that relationships with the coaches, academics and things like that would be a higher priority. Heck, NIL opportunities would make more sense for a recruit than what a coach makes.

Yes. It's a sign of institutional support and program health.
