interesting...Mike London as DC?? Lots of UConn football followers. Charlton just followed.
It looks like a potential home run. Head coaches as coordinators. That could be cool. He was a good coordinator and strong recruiter in dmv tidewater region.
That would wreck my HC to DC anglecould be Mike London Jr
on William & Mary staff as well
This would be a huge win! Not much experience as DC but he is very familiar with the DMV area and was the head coach a Virginia. From a recuiting stand point this would be amazing. Mora can help him with play calling on defense.Mike London Sr: Bill & Mary head coach now, ex-head coach of UVA, Richmond (FCS national championship team), and Howard.

William & Mary names Mike London as 30th head football coach
Mike London — most recently the head coach at Howard University, a national championship-winning coach and a former William & Mary assistant — will be the Tribe’s 30th head football coach.www.wm.edu
Less DC experience than his old man, the ole WR assistant to DC career ascension switcheroo /scould be Mike London Jr on William & Mary staff as well
Kirby SmartOnly explanation is that its someone in a bowl game

We’ve got all these other great coaches (including on defense) and we’ve been striking out for weeks on a DC? Seems fairly unlikely.or we're striking out with those we strongly want
Pure speculation but my guess is he had a couple candidates lined up who couldn't be announced as quickly as the position coaches were announced. During the delay, due to additional coaching turnover throughout the NCAA those candidates decided to wait and see what would be available for them outside of here. Either Mora said "fine, if you won't give me an immediate yes I'll move on", someone committed to a different job (under our radar) or the additional time allowed Mora to cast a wider net. We’ve got all these other great coaches (including on defense) and we’ve been striking out for weeks on a DC? Exactly. And given the fact there is no one on this board that really could judge whether or not a particular choice would be a good fit, all this hiatus is doing is giving the existing staff the opportunity to go full speed ahead with recruiting and retention, and the rest of us to waste time speculating.Pure speculation but my guess is he had a couple candidates lined up who couldn't be announced as quickly as the position coaches were announced. Regardless, I'm not worried about this detail.
But isn’t wasting time while speculating on all things UConn the whole point of the boneyard?Exactly. The first bowl game is December 17th so extending deadline to December 14th doesn’t make sense to me.Only explanation is that its someone in a bowl game
