2026 Recruiting: Jerzy Robinson

Before handing her that pen you should check out post #32 in the Ivanna Wilson Manyackaca recruiting thread. Ivanna snatches Jerzy's soul!
Perhaps not a fair comparison, IMHO. But it was an impressive highlight video.
Ivanna Wilson Manyacka (2027) is a 6'2" forward (per the USA Woman's BB team webpage. Jerzy Robinson (2026) is a 6'0" guard (per the USA Women's BB team webpage. Post #32 has a contest (probably) between the best two players on
their respective teams. I doubt we would ever see that match up in a
regular game. (?) Put Ivanna against Sarah, 6'2", or Yanna Patterson 6'2", or
a similar aged POWER FORWARD and I believe
the comparison would be more impressive (if Ivanna held her own).
I still like them both! On the first post for IVANNA in the BONEYARD
recruiting page, 2024, she was listed as a GUARD! I see her as the FORWARD
(Power Forward) as she was listed as on the recent USA WBB webpage.

Jersey is not exactly a string bean. Plus, in the highlight reel the player you labeled a power forward was quicker and faster than the player you labeled a guard.

Jerzy is a big strong kid, not a speedy guard. But she’s quick enough to make her size a problem for defenders. I’ve only seen a few highlights of Ivanna, but quickness seems to be an important feature of her game. Rather like Blanca, she’ll pose a serious problem for defenses: smaller guards will struggle with her height and larger forwards will be hard pressed to keep up with her.

...dont mind me. Just doing my evening check in to see if Jerzy has committed yet

If I had to guess, she’ll be the last top recruit to commit. She’s having a Sarah-like recruitment where it’s quiet on all fronts. South Carolina, UConn, USC (less likely with Saniyah’s commitment) seems to be the three team race.

Might be as late as Sarah in committing too.

I don't know how accurate this is but....

She’s been recruiting Big O and Addison Bjorn, so I’m willing to bet Jerzy has heard/will hear from her.

Later on in the article (for those who use the "TLDR" excuse: Too Long Didn't Read):

"Robinson hasn’t rushed to make her college choice, which gives programs like South Carolina plenty of time to build strong relationships and show what they offer. While Robinson isn’t able to take any visits yet, she noted that UConn, South Carolina, and LSU are schools that have stood out to her so far."

I like Geno & CD's chances. Possibly a 1st night visit & a verbal commitment...

Go Huskies!!!
1st night listed as cancelled this year.

Jerzy has begun taking her officials. LSU is up first this weekend, UConn could happen in the near future.

UConn has likely scheduled Big O, Bjorn and Jerzy for a weekend together. Hoping these commitments don’t drag out and they’re off the board by the early signing period!

Bjorn's visit to Storrs is supposed to be next week and weekend, the 16th-19th.

I saw that Addison and Jerzy are both on campus this weekend 🤞🤞🤞

Where did you see that? Thought only Addison was supposed to be on campus? Would be great if true.

.-.
I think the coaches like the super quiet visits versus the talked about visits.

Yup. We wouldn’t have known Big O was on her official until she posted with ONO & Tina. We found out about Serah & Kayleigh’s visit through someone seeing them out on campus.

The staff is very meticulous.

Im dreamin again Hoping Jerzy Addison and The Big O all commit to UConn soon
I'm a big fan of all THREE! I recall a video of some "all-star" type
basketball game where Olivia and Jerzy were teammates = Jerzy
drove to the bucket and then passed out to Olivia for the open
3 pointer! NICE! Bring it to STORRS! and bring Addison along!

UConn is what Jerzy Robinson is looking for. News also from Vukosa and Bjorn.
Talia made the predictions: Vukosa to Uconn (Ohio State in the top 2). Bjorn to Iowa (UNC in the top 2), but I don't know if her prediction is accurate.

Why would Bjorn go to Iowa if Woliczko just committed there?
I think that's exactly what boosted Iowa's chances. Woliczko is recruiting Bjorn. The two played together on USA Team. Bjorn at the 3 and Woliczko at the 4.

Why would Bjorn go to Iowa if Woliczko just committed there?
A close friendship with Woliczko including a parental connection, more favorable depth chart than UConn with probable earlier PT, possibly a generous NIL situation generated by and within a fanatical WBB community along with the large revenue sharing from the B18 conference, and a comfortable proximity to campus for her family of only a 4.5 hour drive.

Does anybody know Talia Goodman's track record with guesses/predictions like this? I always viewed her as a reporter rather than an insider.
Skim Milkey recently claimed (early October) her final contenders are UConn, Notre Dame, Kansas and Texas. To go from that to Iowa and North Carolina as the leaders seems like a crazy change.
