Jay Wright Retiring?

Could be anything, health, family, etc. He might want to move to an easier gig like the booth. It will come out.

This is shocking. There has to be more to this.

And retiring and going to coach the Lakers a month later doesn't seem like a Jay Wright move.

Very bad news for Nova and the Big East conference as a whole.

This is the effect of the mercenary portal and NIL on college basketball.

This makes it easier for UCONN to dominate the Big East conference.

With Jay Wright gone, the Big East is now relegated to PAC-12 level in the best basketball conferences reality.

I imagined him coaching Nova for 20 more years. I wonder if there will be any Nova decommits and transfers?

Not sure how much $$ Jay has. I'm sure plenty. Wonder if it's enough to buy and crew J Class Yacht. That's what I would do if I could.

Who were the 4 and 5 stars that Jay Wright magically tricked into sitting the bench all last season and didn't transfer out?!

My hatred of the Main Line makes it impossible for me to like Villanova, but what Wright built there over his 20+ years was impressive. Neptune was involved in recruiting most of the roster, which should help the transition.

Wow.

Hurley vs. Cooley for top dog this year.

I like our chances.

This feels like a Brady situation. Remind me of this message 12 months from now. He’s not gone for good.
There is a coach out at Creighton that should be in that tweet.

Hope Fordham doesn't scoop up kimani

I want to read the Nova board but it's behind a damn paywall. Anyone know a way around it?
