this does not appear to be trueWhen one has deleted all their UConn-related contacts on social media I think we can read ominous things into that.

Really??? Kind of an uneccessary comment when all we have is speculation.Shades of when AEH left. Just waiting for the Dick Vitale formal announcement. You know:
"Hasta la vista BABY"

This is Geno’s way of saying it’s none of our businessActually he said when the right time comes...
You are usually such a reliable poster. But in this case, it appears that you have belied your #1 source of info moniker. She still has UConn related social media activity. But more importantly I just hope she is okay and can return to the bench soon. When one has deleted all their UConn-related contacts on social media I think we can read ominous things into that.
I'd have to disagree with that. The reason for Jasmine absence might be the result of a private matter. The speculation as to why she is absent should not continue until the team makes an announcement. Jasmine's absence is not a private matter though , not only is she a public figure she is also an employee of the State of Connecticut. In any way, shape or form this shouldn't be a topic of discussion on this site! This is a private matter that shouldn't be discussed here or anywhere else!
No person whether they be a state employee or not has any fewer rights - such as right to privacy - than any other person.I'd have to disagree with that. Jasmine's right to privacy is not an issue being debated here.this does not appear to be true

UConn assistant coach Jasmine Lister to take leave of absence, Jamelle Elliott to fill in

"UConn assistant basketball coach Jasmine Lister has taken a leave of absence from her duties for personal reasons, the school will announce today.
Lister was missing from the bench for UConn’s last seven games after she was reportedly not been feeling well."
For instance, Jasmine was recently following 282 accounts on Twitter. She cut that to 127 and all potential recruits and current UConn players are gone. She is still following the UConn WBB account and Shea Ralph's.
Then why did you bring it up?Jasmine's right to privacy is not an issue being debated here.
What possible questions could fans have left unanswered! That seems to bring up more questions than answers, at least for the fans.
I didn't. Reading might be fundamental but obviously comprehension is evasive. Then why did you bring it up?

Jasmine's absence (FROM THE TEAM) is not a private matter, otherwise UCONN would not have just put out a statement.
I have many more questions. What possible questions would you have left unanswered!
Who? Jasmine
What? Taking a leave of absence
Why? Private matter.
When? 1 February 2020
Replacement? Jemelle Elliot
If in fact Jasmine’s absence is a “health related” matter then it is in fact private, covered by HIPAA laws. Certainly, UConn has the right and responsibility to explain the transition to Jamelle on a temporary basis, but they have no right to go beyond with the details surrounding the specific reason for Jasmine’s absence. Let’s simply hope that whatever the “personal” reason is for Jasmine’s departure, she deals with it successfully and comes back healthy and ready to go.I didn't. Absolutely. We are all faced with challenging situations in our lives and we are entitled to the space to deal with them as best we can. The parties that need to know do know and those of us that admire and respect her should offer her our support as she chooses to accept it.If in fact Jasmine’s absence is a “health related” matter then it is in fact private, covered by HIPAA laws. Absolutely, especially after telling us she was ill.would have been nice if they just said she is ok. I think thats all people are concerned about
If she was very instrumental in the commitment of many of the recently committed recruits and the news is negative, that could also be a big problem. My hope is that she will be on UConn's bench again.

Your post is just plain doublespeak. Not even a nice try .... and as usual remarkably insulting.
Sorry for the confusing doublespeak. When I said "Jasmine absence" I was referring to those Tuesday morning pilates classes which Jasmine has been skipping out on over the last of couple months.
