Less skilled but more athletic. Akinjo is a very limited driver, but shoots well.

If Jalen is back next yr something went horribly wrong in his development. It won't matter anyway because by the time he decides to stay or leave 2018 recruiting will have been hopefully long wrapped up

Think Waters is the more talented player, but Akinjo is definitely more physically and probably mentally tough. Higher defensive ceiling as well.

Age is the determining factor. He will be 23 if he stays fro his sr. year. Being a 23 year old senior and being compared to 19-20 year olds is a big draft negative. His numbers last year given the injuries to Gilbert and Larrier were quite impressive (14.4 points, 6.1 assists, 4.3 rebounds). Any improvement and decrease in turnovers will move him well up the draft board.

Both very good players. To me, Akinjo appears to be tougher and a better floor general/leader.
