Bro - you are a senior. It is now or never if you want to make the cheddar. Have some GD pride out there! Completely unacceptable game tonight for a player of his caliber. This is what he was more concerned about pregame:

The headband was countering his cold symptoms.

Is this sarcasm or is he actually sick? Because a bunch of guys looked lethargic and an illness would make a lot of sense

Quite frankly(TM), and this has nothing to do with the Instagram post, he just doesn't have the right attitude to be a leader and the desire to improve and dominate. He hasn't shown it in 3+ years, it's not going to appear all of a sudden.

He's not Kemba, Shabazz, or even Boatright. I don't blame it all on him -- a better coach would have drawn more out of him over the previous 3 years -- but this is who he is.

Jalen has pretty much looked lethargic all season. Tonight was the worst but he always looks kind of gassed and his play has been sloppy. I really don't get it.

If he's playing sick he still should be putting up more than 2 pts vs Manhattan, or he shouldn't be playing. That is not a valid excuse if you put on the uniform you give 100% which he clearly didn't. As a senior leader this is unacceptable. You're of course allowed bad games, but this wasn't a bad game. This was purely a lack of effort and I hope Hurley is as disappointed as OP.

Definitely the worst game I have seen Jalen play. He looked totally lost out there. His expression was priceless going back to the bench. I guess coupled with the Florida State game he has had two pretty bad games. He is due a good game.

I’m guessing he’s sick. Only Cliff should sport the headband, though.

I love Jalen. Has kinda that Rudy gay feel where you just know you could squeeze so much more out of that Orange. But I’m excited to see when hurley brings in those guys that buy in from day one. That’s where we will see the progress. Jalen has been a great husky for sticking around and not transferring but I’m not gunna miss the frustration

While Watching the game with my father he turned to me and said “doesn’t Jalen look sick to you or strange looking “ I said , yeah he looked like pale or something. Maybe the headband made his face look tighter or something. He just looked lethargic as hell. Not a good look. Never want to think about this game again. However , it was nice and refreshing to see Wilson Whaley and Kwintin in there late in the game just to mix some things up - tired of the same old front line

Jalen was terrible. He hasn’t really been good yet this yr. He’s been the third best guard imo. Rique and CV have been more impactful. Jalen needs to come up a couple of levels or conference play is going to be rough

People blaming jalens performance tonight on some mysterious illness will go down as one of the most embarrassing boneyard moments of all time. Far wiser to point to pregame fashion shows and straw polling.

It’s ok to admit underperformance and lack of focus! Those who take ownership are strongest!

Okay, friend.
