Kid making stupid decision. He could have panicked but it doesn't matter. Nonetheless I wouldn't be upset if he was suspended for a game. Whatever it takes for him to learn a lesson on such a small incident is fine with me. As long as its not extra harsh.

My son and his friend nearly ran Adams over when he came into their lane on a scooter a couple of weeks ago. He said the two scooters looked to be racing. KO should ban these stupid things.
