Great! That happened super fast after everyone was saying it would happen. I didn't expect a night commit but I guess he commited in Australian Time. That should be a wrap to a great class until the transfer marker opens up.

Not the class I thought it would be a year ago but may be a better all around fit. Great job by the staff in finding players.

A 4* ranking which puts UConn’s recruiting class at #2

That wasn't updated totally. Even thought it has 4 recruits it only has 3 recruits in the stars and the same points of 64.37 it had when Mullins committed. This should push us a lot closer to 1 than 3.

Serious question. Does this signing drop our 2025 recruiting class ranking or are internationals exempt from the cumulative ranking?

None of the class ranking sites go by a strict average, for this reason. They're all cumulative with weighting depending on rank.

So he’s probably 6’5.5 with shoes on
Well, they use the metric system where he's from so it may not be possible to get his true height.

This kid is a hooper. The shot is the elite skill, but he's got nice touch around the basket, and good vision. Wonder if we could have him develop some bully ball at his weight?

I know comp haters are gonna hate for obvious reasons but he really does have shades of a slightly smaller Joe Ingles and sign me up for that every day of the week.

Talented player and excellent fit for Danny's system.

Welcome to the basketball capital of the world, Jacob Furphy.

When they cut down the nets for the 4-peat they'll call it Jacob's Ladder. And when he rules the court we'll call it Murphy's Law.

How many lefties will the team have next season? I believe he's the 2nd lefty in UConn's 2025 recruiting class, in addition to Reibe. Solo Ball makes 3 if he returns next season. And strangely, Bundalo, who they're no longer recruiting is a lefty. I thought there was another lefty recruit. Am I missing any others? Just such an unusual and bizarre happenstance.

Hurley can send in line changes where he plays the lefties only on the left side of the court and the righties on the right, though that would mess up their motion offense. :)
