The last play was a microcosm of this. We messed up by not boxing out, cool. But how do you let Ndefo who is a sub par free throw shooter get that shot off without giving him the hardest legal foul you can? It’s just soft. Rap him up and make him make to high pressure free throws.

Good lord, the Hurley defenders here are unreal. He gets paid millions to mold and build 20 year old kids to execute and perform under pressure. The lack of in-game structure, the lack of consequences, the lack of adjustments allowing them to feed off failure, the hyped up mentality that leads to utter mental chaos is all on the person cashing big pay checks. Nobody else. Rule 1 in effective leadership is if your guys are doing what you need, it’s on you for failing to lead them. Own the result and fix it.

Idk how what you said applied to what I said at all. You wasted a lot of time just now. Both are true. Hurley can do better, and a lot of the soft play isn’t related to what Hurley could be doing better
