I really hope Mullins comes back

God, you’re still on this after hearing from him, his family, and people here how obsessed he is with Hurley and the program?
I'm certainly not blind to a school throwing 4mm at him and we won't do more than 2mm (like Indiana), that he might consider it. It's the portal man - gets crazier every year. I don't think it will happen, but you never know.

I'd love to have Mullins back but it creates a log jam at 2-3 with him Ball and Ross. I like what I have seen from Ross' development this year but I wonder if a Mullins return would stunt further growth. Ross needs more minutes. In the end, I just want what's best for the team so I would take Mullins in a heartbeat, but II would feel bad for Ross and always wonder what might have been.
He’s a better player than both of them

Needs to get more secure with the ball and show an ability to create for others. Does he want to do this in the Big East making 500k in NIL or in the GLeague playing in front of no one making 70k?

I'm quite surprised he's mocked as high as he is. Quite weak, nice form but terrible 3P % for being his specialty, questionable decision making. I'd love him as a sophomore in college ball, hate him as a prospect (right now).

.-.
I follow him our NBA UConn player boxscores every night. I'm seeing he gets DNPs mostly. He does not get consistent minutes.
We’re getting farther and farther from the point here. That his minutes have fallen off this year is irrelevant to the discussion.

What happened to Hawkins in the nba
He has made 13.7m dollars over 3 years and had his 4th year option for 7m exercised. So he’ll have banked 20m by this time next year and be a free agent after that.

Getting drafted by the 2nd worst organization in the NBA has hindered his progress, but he’s set for life.

Bleacher Report’s newest mock released today has Mullins going 9th. Seems a bit high given the quality of this draft, but he won’t go lower than 20th. Still think he’ll be late lottery tbh.

I am interested to see what nba scouts think of Mullins. Good size for a SG, decent athleticism and ball handling. Great looking shot.

Lots of work to do on his strength and body. Way too light.

Many have no idea what they’re talking about, slapping a list together on what they read elsewhere.

Finkelstein I’ll buy into.
And he has Mullins the last pick of the first round.

I trust Mullins, his family and the coaching staff to make the right decision for Mullins. There are obviously a lot of factors at play. He and his family don't seem hell bent on getting to the NBA ASAP so that won't cloud their judgment. Whatever they decide to do I'm good with.

He can't make wide open jumpshots consistently, and he brings nothing else to the table, so if you can't do the one thing they put you on the court for then no playing time for you

It's not a simple comparison though since Hawkins was a lottery pick. The hypothetical here is that Mullins goes much later and doesn't play very much.
