What is up with Baylor's Nina Davis? Going into tonight on a per 30 minutes basis she was averaging over 24pts, over 10 rebounds, over 3 steals, 1.6 blocks and only 0.6 TO. Oh, and did I mention 78% FG shooting. I know the opponents have been weak but those are crazy, crazy numbers. As in I've never seen anyone other than maybe Maya put up numbers like that for more than a few games in a row regardless of competition.

And she's having a really good game against KY.
 
Pretty sure every one of Sims' four fouls are offensive. That last one was just stupid.
 
Kentucky on a nice run. Baylor kind of walks back on defense, especially after turnovers. You never see UConn teams doing that. Kim needs to stop whining and start coaching.
 
What's up with Walker? Not playing much at all.
 
Walker could have been such a good player at UConn. She had so much potential and really did a great job in her few games as a freshman. I don't think she has progressed at UK at all.

Baylor making a run, Sims is keeping them in the game.

What strikes me most is that if these teams are giving up thus amount of points, UConn, especially if at full strength, would put up big numbers against either and would not give up nearly as many points.
 
Like I said in the preseason "There will be games where Simms will simply will Baylor to a victory".......

Let me just say I was completely wrong. Baylor is much better than I gave them credit for. I'm surprised to say the least. Super exciting and high scoring game. Nice to see so much offense.
 
I don't see Baylor coming within 10 of UConn...could be wrong, but our inside game is much stronger and I doubt Sims will get 41 against us. UK plays little to no defense.

I thought going in that Baylor was bottom of the top ten. That still seems about right, although perhaps with a bit more upside than I thought going into the season.
 
Mulkey's daughter misses a point blank layup to win the game. Why didn't they try to get Sims open off a screen or something?

Yeah. Did you catch my post earlier? I said I was wrong about that. But apparently that didn't stop you from crowing. Instead of just enjoying your teams excellent performance, you choose to post that? That's as surprising to me as Baylor's performance.
