I like KY tonight against Baylor

Don't think so, KY chokes, Baylor has better coach (despite my earlier false accusations) and Sims

Sims being a great player who has the ball in her hands is tougher to stop than a great post player who can be stifled by packed-in defenses. (And though KY will try, denying the ball or effectively shadowing someone as quick and strong as Sims with a junk defense would be difficult.)

I think Kentucky by about 15 or so. I just don't think Baylor is that good this year - thought they were just barely a top 20 team, but maybe I'll be proven wrong...

I see Kentucky winning the game as Baylor hasn't met this level of competition this year. I'll make an obvious statement, if Baylor does win its because Odyssey had a monster game scoring close to 30 points with 7 or 8 assists. Kentucky has to keep Odyssey under control and I think they will.

Sims will be the best player on the court tonight. In fact, she may be the best player on any court this season if she can sustain her 27.6 ppg + 5.1 apg averages throughout the season. No disrespect to Chiney, McBride, Thomas or UConn's Fearsome Four (Stef, KML, Stewie, Bria), but Odyssey's name should head the list of any AA team as the premier PG in wcbb.

Home court is worth about four, when it is a home court. This is technically a neutral, although from a traveling POV, closer to a home court for Baylor, but maybe worth a couple points at most. Given that there is no one there, maybe worth a point for Baylor. I don't why you say 5 point advantage of KY

Baylor's defense doesn't look nearly as imposing without Griner in the middle. Sims has two fouls, both charges (I think). She can also get to the basket pretty much whenever she wants.

Kentucky has no halfcourt offense but they do crash the boards well.

In a listing I looked at earlier today, they had Kentucky listed as the home team. Evidently, an error. If it is a neutral court, the game would be a toss up.

I just mean that Sims can't get out and guard like she did last year. This is the first I've seen Baylor play this year, and the difference is striking.
