Peterson, a 6-6, 230-pound righthander, went 7-2 with a 2.44 ERA for Lake County, High-A affiliate of the Cleveland Guardians. Peterson earned a midseason promotion to Double-A Akron and continued to pitch well, posting a nearly identical 7-2 record and 2.88 ERA in 13 starts.
