Thanks and the Lamar situation was complicated. Unfortunately, someone took a guote in which I was referring to Lamar Odom and applied it to Akok. I never know if stuff like that is unintentional or just deceitful, so I let it slide since Tom wanted to stay on topic.
I can think of two guys who I wanted to see in a UConn uniform, who UConn was involved with but who took another path. I most wanted to see Big Ticket (Garnet) and Lamar in a UConn uniform. What Jim Calhoun could have done with those two would have been unfair LOL?

I saw Lamar Odom play for Redemption Christian - on a court whose primary purpose was indoor tennis . Wolf & Shaker Road.

Yes he looked incredible.

But so did Ernie D who I saw at a court at a Franciscan Seminary.

Also, this happens regularly in CBB recruiting. Some recruits just like to take all their visits. The past regime has given us a mild case of PTSD. You can take comfort in the fact that Danny and Tom WILL NOT let up. They're relentless. Something we could never say about the last regime

The issue with him taking the official is that our insiders said he wasn't going to make it to the visit. That kind of calls into question the rest of the info.

Not saying he didn't commit or that anything was made up, but that things may have changed.

I saw Ernie D play at MSG for a U.S. college all-star team against the Russian national team before he went to the NBA. Unbelievably talented basketball player. And the shame of it is that the way the game has changed, I'm not sure even that much talent could overcome the lack of size, speed and athleticism. But that loss is on basketball, not Ernie D.

I think he was responding to 99 saying that he has people telling him to take all his visits. I just assumed maybe that meant he didn’t want to take all his visits.
