OT: How many MLB parks have you visited?

* I'm a Yankees fan, so both Stadiums
* I like baseball, so both Mets Stadiums (Citi Field > Yankee Stadium)
* Fenway, just once, but a cool experience
* AT&T Park - beautiful, freezing, smells like weed and fish, loved it
* Chase Field - first indoor experience, fun time especially in the summer when it's 120 out

Been inside but not for baseball

* Veterans Stadium - Went to my first Giants game there. My dad was recently divorced and moved to Jersey, went with his girlfriend and we bought tickets from a scalper who negotiated our price by including our hoagies as part of our payment. Giants won the game in OT by a Strahan pick-six off of Doug Peterson.

* Olympic Stadium - Visited it with @Letsgohuskies11 during a trip to Montreal. Weird and cold, felt like I was at a Home Depot.

Fenway, first ML game, saw Williams, Mantle, Berra
Old Yankee stadium
Polo Grounds, saw Mays playing for Mets
Wrigley Field, boot camp liberty
Old San Diego Padre stadium in Mission Valley, saw a few Charger games there too.

Regrets I never saw Ebbets Field. My father saw many games there.
Wow, that's an amazing list. How was Polo Grounds? Do you think Babe Ruth really hit a home run to dead center?

Muneesh on the podcast was a fun guest. Baseball maniac. It was the Summer of 2013 that he had the tour!
If you enjoyed listening, give us an Apple review. Thanks everyone!

Not many: Fenway, old Yankee, new Yankee, Shea, Detroit, Comerica, new Pirates Stadium, Cleveland, SkyDome. 9.

One. I was never a baseball fan, but my Dad and his best friend were. In the fifties, they would often take my "cousin" Joey, my older brother, and me to minor league ballgames in Bridgeport. On one occasion, when I was 9, they took the three of us to a game at the Polo Grounds. I remember nothing of the game other than how brightly the field was lit, and how tiny the players looked from our seats way up in the stands. And my father explaining that we had great seats, because we were closest to 1st base -- "the busiest spot on the field." I guess he meant other than home plate and the pitcher's mound.

Fenway - Most visits, 40+ games on '74 (including first & last game w/streaking), '75 World Series, '78 Bucky F Dent game. Maybe once since bleachers were closed in. Never with seats on The Wall
Yankee - Old, pre- & post-renovations, for Yankees & Newport Jazz Fest (most memorably BB King)
Yankee - New
Shea - Original & re-clad exteriors, for Mets, Jets, Who/Clash/David Johansen, Police/REM/Joan Jett
Citi
Busch - Current version
Riverfront - '76 World Series games 1&2, including the night game w/Bowie Kuhn wearing a sweater
Kingdome - Amazing echoes with ~2,000 attendance
Three Rivers - For 1975 Pitt-Penn State football game, and from a dust-avoiding vantage point when it was imploded in 2001
Comerica - only photographs from the outside; Tigers were on the road

Yankee Stadium
Old Cleveland Stadium
Arlington Park,TX
Marlins Park
Camden Yards
Nationals Ballpark
Coors Field
Fenway

It feels like more than it is but all good times nonetheless!!!

Nice List Hans. Joseph’s been to 2 parks so he was excited to hear about the rest. It was a cool distraction to everything bad in the sport currently.

Fenway (quite often)
Shea
Yankee Stadium (original)
Arlington
Candlestick Park
Wrigley
Miller Park (beautiful ball yard)
Oakland
Petco (for a party, not a game)

Yankee Stadium (original and rehabbed) many times, first time either 1963 or '64
new Yankee Stadium
Yankees spring training stadium (played game there, part of Fantasy Camp, January 1999)
Fenway Park many times
Shea Stadium probably 10 times
Camden Yards a few times, beautiful ballpark
Atlanta for a playoff game circa 1997
Busch stadium 1983, hot as hell
Astrodome 1974 quite a novelty back then
Arizona Diamondbacks circa 2004
Angels stadium circa 1995

When my wife and I got married, we used Ballparks that one, the other, or we both have been to instead of table numbers. The only one she went to without me was Anaheim. and our quest to hit them all got derailed by...well...life.

I've been to:
1. Fenway
2. Busch II
3. Yankee II
4. Ballpark
5. ProPlayer
6. Shea
7. Jacobs
8. Metrodome
9. Olympic
10. Camden
11. RFK
12. Rogers
13. Miller
14. Wrigley
15. Tropicana
16. Yankee III
17. McAfee
18. AT&T
19. Nationals
20. Kaufman
21. PNC
22. Target
23. Coors
24. Citi
25. Citizens Bank
26. Busch III (pending. Going to StL. with my buddy for a Pearl Jam Concert next month. Hope to get tickets for game 2 of the Cardinals' season that afternoon).

I think that's it.

I've also been to City of Palms, JetBlue, and Hammond for Spring Training. Unfortunately, I was forced to pass up a trip to AZ in a couple of weeks for ST out west.
Impressive!!

You had 25 different parks and felt you had to pad the list further by delineating Yankee Stadium I vs Yankee Stadium II?

After reading some of these, I'll not only add Yankee II, but also Petco, where I walked around the grass area behind the scoreboard during a game, walked by the entrances at Arlington, Safeco, and Target, and drove within 200 yards of another dozen.

It was the last year it was open I think... it was dumpy, and I was young, but I do remember how far away dead center was... CF was playing 100’ short of the fence.

Polo Grounds (My first [1949] & still my favorite. Taking Willie Mays out of the PG was a crime against Nature!)
Ebbets Field
Old Yankee Stadium
Shea
Citi
Renovated Yankee Stadium
Old Comiskey
PNC (Lovely ball park. Would be my fave but for emotional attachment to PG.)

By virtue of being born in 1977. I never got to experience Yankee Stadium I. My first experience in the Bronx was in the 1997 ALDS. I went to the new one as a wedding present from my best man in 2009.

Incidentally, sat in the Monster Seats for the same reason, but that gift was from my brother.

2. Wrigley Field
3. Pro Player
4. Dodger Stadium
5. Guaranteed Rate (or whatever the White Sox are now)
6. Nationals Park
7. Jacobs Field

I’m curious what is the favorite stadium or most recommended? I’ve been wanting to go to PNC for so long but have just never been able to make it to Pittsburgh during baseball season. The Nationals Park and my own GABP are my two faves thus far.

New and old Yankee Stadium
Shea and CitiField
Fenway
Veterans - Philly
Wrigley
PETCO Park - San Diego
Canden Yards
Nationals Park - D.C.

I’ll mix team and stadium names as I don’t remember all of them by name.

Fenway
Yankee Stadium- Old and New
Toronto
Camden
Trop
Citizen Bank
Washington Nats
Sun Park
Comerica
WSox
Target and Metrodome
Wrigley
Minute Maid
Safeco
Petco
Chase Field

I may forget a few....

Fenway Park (including back before Monster seats)
Yankee Stadium (back in ‘67)
Shea Stadium
Memorial Stadium and Camden Yards in Baltimore
Veteran’s Stadium and Citizens Bank Park in Philly.
Safeco Field Seattle
Wrigley Field
SkyDome (now Rogers Center), Toronto
Both Comiskey Park and what is now Guaranteed Rate Park in Chicago
Jack Murphy in San Diego
Dodger Stadium

I think that’s about it.

Fenway
Royals/Kauffman
Wrigley
Candlestick
Oakland Coliseum (Pedro‘s first game for the Red Sox)
Dodger Stadium

Fenway
Yankee II
Yankee III
Shea
Citifield
Olympic
Camden Yards
Fulton County
Turner Field
Wrigley
Jack Murphy
Anaheim
Dodger
Candlestick
PacBell
Oakland Coliseum

Also: I saw an Oakland A's regular season game at Cashman Field in Las Vegas when the Coliseum was under repair about 20 years ago. We used to go to Doubleday Field in Cooperstown for the Hall of Fame game when we were kids, but those were exhibitions so it was more like going to spring training games.
