Trap on every possession if you don't want Houston holding the ball for 28 seconds.
 
What color is the air around the UConn bench?
 
Houston's also outrebounding us, 10-7. So that's not helping.
 
Not surprising. The only way to give yourself a chance is to limit the number of UConn possessions.

Anyone who thinks teams are going to lay down and let the Huskies do what they want deserve to be embarrassed. Playing UConn is every team's Super Bowl. The first 10-15 minutes are always competitive; the last 25-30 are something else.
 
Second shot-clock violation by Houston. If they took any more air out of the ball, I think it might implode.

Lou just has way too many moving parts on that shot -- the bunny hop, the catapoult motion. Coaches have to do something about that in the offseason.
 
UConn's inability to shoot the three ball is hurting them again
 
I'm missing Tuck already. She normally has 3-4 post baskets by now. She's automatic inside the paint. Sometimes you don't know what you got til it's gone...
 
UConn shooting 8-for-15 from 2, 0-for-8 from 3
 
2nd quarter a bit better so far... 0 pts this quarter for Houston so far.
