Houston Game Thread

As poorly as they've played offensively they've still scored 37. The last offensive series, UConn missed 4 shots.

.-.
Wretched half for UConn, yet leading by 22. Odd.

The shooting percentages for UConn, both teams for that matter, at the half is going to be mind numbing.

.-.
Geno looks like he'd like to blow up his team at the half.

Baskets in the Paint at the half
Houston 4 (2-2)
UConn 14 (6-8)

Geno talking at the half, "If I stood here for another hour I wouldn't be able to tell you one thing that I though we did well today".

I agree with Geno for the most part - when asked if he was pleased with how the team played after a slow start he said "You know, if I stood here for an hour, I don't know if I could pick out one good thing we did in the half."

They were disjointed, out of sorts, and sloppy. Having said that, I thought Butler looked good, Gabby was everywhere, and Lou played better in the 2nd part of the 2nd quarter. It wasn't a BAD half, but it felt a lot worse than it was.

It shows how he looks at team when talking most of time, unless someone points out a particular player. Gabby had a very good 1/2 half....
