OT: Hot Dog recipes, bought too many

You hung around the wrong people.

My first experience with the term was when we bought the hot dogs they served at the 7-11 back in the 70s.

Come to think of it maybe I hung around the wrong people.
I’ve never heard it in a dirty context until today. It’s just something that weird dads/uncles say while trying to be funny in my world.

I think you may be confusing it with this:

Love that song and was mildly disappointed Top didn't play it last fall. They did do Pearl Necklace, however.

Hmm, not sure this helping...

Weird dad is not a bad thing, it’s a badge of honor that is earned through years of awful dad jokes and heroism in protecting the thermostat and turning off lights in empty rooms.

No such thing as too many dogs. I just bought a 3 lb box of Mucke's to get me through a couple weeks of lockdown.

When visiting grandparents in northern Adirondacks Michigans were the shizz.

Whats hilarious about that is that in Michigan, the virtually IDENTICAL recipe is called a Coney Island.

And it’s not called anything on Coney Island, because that’s not how New York does things.

My mom used to fry up sliced bologna with onions and tomato sauce ( personally I hated it) - dont know why you couldn't substitute hot dogs for bologna.
