So we can hope for better than 17-18 in 17/18? Who's replacing 50% of our offense that just left? We lost the core of the team. We need guys that can put the ball in the basket. You can't expect all of the offense to come from the perimeter. Is he at least par for the course and as good as the guys he would be replacing?
No disagreement there. So we can hope for better than 17-18 in 17/18? Who's replacing 50% of our offense that just left? We lost the core of the team. We need guys that can put the ball in the basket. You can't expect all of the offense to come from the perimeter.
I'm not disagreeing that we don't need a ton of help in the frontcourt, but with Larrier and Gilbert back (IF healthy) we're getting about 23 ppg back. Larrier and Gilbert were average 13+ and 10+ per game. Those two and Adams are options 1, 2, and 3 on offense anyway. Vital should give us around 10 a game. I'm worried about defense and rebounding. So we can hope for better than 17-18 in 17/18? Who's replacing 50% of our offense that just left? We lost the core of the team. Unless something dramatic and unprecedented has happened, we're not getting Diallo. No disagreement there.
I'm just hoping that:
1. We get Diallo
2. He Qualifies
3. He is better or at least as good as the production that we would have gotten from one of the following quitters: VJack, Enoch, or Durham.
5 years. So he's going to redshirt?Would sign up for this at this point.

Yeah and can't really afford to redshirt anyone with our roster at this pointDon't see why people would want to redshirt him. He's skinny, but they could still play him at the 4, as they would have with Durham. If nothing else, there'd be five fouls and aggressiveness on tap.

I was actually referring to the Adam Sandler movie clip guy, not Diarra.....Don't see why people would want to redshirt him. He's skinny, but they could still play him at the 4, as they would have with Durham. If nothing else, there'd be five fouls and aggressiveness on tap.
I still remember Ollie being pissed at the freshman for coming in and giving themselves a nickname before they had done Jack.
Think they meant for academic reasons.
The memory of that becomes more and more cringe-y by the day.I still remember Ollie being pissed at the freshman for coming in and giving themselves a nickname before they had done Jack.
We can expect good news tmmrw on this front
Spring concerts on a Thursday now?I assume the team will be bringing him to the Lil Uzi Vert concert at UConn tomorrow night.
And the best they can do is Lil Uzi Vert. Little bit of a downgrade from Kendrick Lamar and Steve Aoki.Spring concerts on a Thursday now?
They need to kill off the fall and winter concerts and just go all out on a spring one. Schools as big as UConn should be attracting better talent than this. (funny that this is paralleling many folks' thoughts on the basketball program currently)And the best they can do is Lil Uzi Vert. Little bit of a downgrade from Kendrick Lamar and Steve Aoki.
ECSU is getting Mac Miller.
Careful, you are trying to steal Chief's equally vague thunderQuite frankly, stay tuned.
Lil Uzi is waaaay bigger than Mac Miller right now, one of hottest rappers in the country. I know, crazy. And the best they can do is Lil Uzi Vert. Little bit of a downgrade from Kendrick Lamar and Steve Aoki.

IIRC one year we had Guster & OAR and another we had Reel Big FishAnd the best they can do is Lil Uzi Vert. Little bit of a downgrade from Kendrick Lamar and Steve Aoki.

It's amazing how far mainstream hip hop has fallen, never knew how lucky I had it in the 90's.Lil Uzi is waaaay bigger than Mac Miller right now, one of hottest rappers in the country. I know, crazy.
