I don’t think we need a combo. I think we need a legit PG, someone like Smith last year. Silas can play off ball if needed. But Mullins is going to lead this team in minutes played.

Hes taking a redshirt so he can get a fifth year. If the NCAA changes the rules so that everyone gets a 5th year, then he doesn't need to redshirt.

injury was most likely at scapulo-lunate ligament tear or another nearby ligament . recovery from a repair us very long dye to need for long immobilization, limited circulation, and rehab for range of motion and strength. it is possible to play with pain with this injury but it will not heal without repair.

I find it extremely hard to believe that Stewie didn't know about this before he made his decision.

The roster has yet to be complete. Do you really think our staff is only looking for bench players in the portal? I think we need 3 more players who will get PT - back ups at the 1 and 5, and a 4.

We are covered there with Nik, Landrew and Ross. We need Combo guard or a 2 guard.

We should probably focus on a high tier point guard. Silas can play that role but his is really a 2. And if Solo is out next year, Silas will be gone anyway and a point guard this year could be good for next year as well.

Maybe he could return 2/3 into next season, but at that point he has 6 weeks to make an impression to the NBA teams that may draft him so he must have figured it was better to red shirt next season and come back full strength in 2027 2028.

This may explain the move from Braylon as well.

Ideally you pencil Solo back into the 2 spot, but County and definitely Landrew will be looking to start or simply leave. This assumes both County and Landrew are ready and show potential this coming season of course. Hurley probably needs to recruit a vet wing that can play the 2 or 3 next season, regardless with Solo missing 18+ months of game action.

So Solo will have to compete for that starting spot. Doubt Hurley will hand it to him.

Is suspect they can play County at PG. He will be given opportunities to learn it. Knowing that you can get a player as good as senior Solo in 2027, it’s like an early portal win for next year at a position of need. But a backup PG who isn’t a senior would still be the best option. If we can find one.

So our 2 losses in the tournament were to the champions by a total of 8 points. The Florida game saw a guy have the best last 4 minutes in recent history. And our starting backcourt was held together by duct tape and hope. We are bad a??!! That’s so cool.

See in 27 - will be rooting for you. Ross passed him to end the year. He’s next in line for any opportunity at the 3.

We brought in NK. Stew wants to and deserves to have his chance to be featured in an offense. Which is what he always wanted.

We weren’t planning to do that for him, so he left.
