Although I do keep track of all his brackets, the fact that he posted three (!!!) updates yesterday, amuses me to no end. And he'll post one either late tonight or tomorrow, as his usual Tuesday morning one. I won't even speculate what it will look like as a result of the UConn-Villanova game tonight.

How can UConn be an Automatic Qualifier? We haven't won the tourney (yet)?
It's his "Prediction" that UConn will win the BET, there for the Automatic Qualifier...

Five days ago Creme picked Villanova to win the BET. And UNC to win the ACC tournament. Many other leagues he, Philippou and Voelpel wiffed on due to upsets. For the 10 conferences that will have had their championship game by tonight, he's already wrong on 7 of them, and when UConn wins he'll be wrong on 8. The other two prognosticators can max out at 5 correct.

So in a nutshell, he's not as good at his job as he believes, and I have confidence in the actual selection committee to weigh everything. And last year we did just fine as a 2 seed!

"To be the best you must beat the best"

Geno and the UConn women will continue to be fired up right through the Final Four. Revenge tour indeed! Just avoid injuries!

He did post an article this morning. “These four things will most impact the women’s NCAA bracket…”. Makes no mention of recent UConn wins. He had predicted that Villanova would win the Big East. In the ESPN broadcast last night, he did not include UConn in the discussion of 1 and 2 seeds. He was surprised the selection committee chose UConn as a one seed in its first reveal.

Assuming UCONN wins tonight, I expect he will still try to keep UConn as a #3 seed. The selection committee will expose his bias and suggest a different ranking of the teams. Can you be a Net ranking #2 and not be among the top 8 teams?

He picked UCONN to lose the BE Tourney, but lists them as an AQ in this bracket?

He has us playing Iowa in the Sweet Sixteen, again. I'm sure Lisa Bluder would love that.

All three struck out with Big 10 and Pac 12. The rest TBD. I'll post the entire grid when all conference tourneys are done.

No person with half a brain thinks UCONN isn't a top 4 team right now with the current players. If any of these people had to bet their life savings on any team other than SC they would be betting on UCONN. UCONN always has more talent that the majority of teams, they have a better coach and most importantly they expect to win.

Creme is about getting clicks and that is all this is. If he truly thinks there are 8 teams better than UCONN he should be fired and replaced with a talking parrot.

The health of your team at this time makes a bracket/seeding difference. Notre Damn has stated they will not release Miles tournament status because it will effect their seeding one way or the other. UConn today is healthier than at any time this season it should effect their seeding and they are playing trending up. Indiana, Stanford and Utah down.

Hey that’s parrot abuse.
Btw - He would make a great character in that Redbull commercial.

I don't understand why everyone's panties are in a bunch with this guy.
For me its this:

The committee's two reveals have had UConn as a 1 seed after our Marquette loss a and then as the 3rd 2 seed after our St Johns loss. Since then, we have improved drastically and every team above us (except South Carolina) as lost 1-2 more games, in a lot of cases to teams not in the top 16. Based on what the Committee has done and said, a win today would make UConn a likely 1 seed or at worst the highest 2 seed.
However, Creme's narrative and then all the ESPN commentators yesterday going on about how UConn isn't even in the discussion for a 1 seed at this point and have them firmly on the 3 seed line. Where this bugs me is that when the actual brackets come out 50% of the narrative is going to be around the shock and awe that UConn is seeded so highly and the unfairness of it all - like last year and the Bridgeport regional thing. To me, its completely intentional on ESPN's part to set themselves up for a UConn is overrated storyline for the whole tournament - and I personally don't want listen to it.

Yes, if you look at the ESPN article from March 1, three writers picked their conference champions. Crème was one of them. He picked Villanova.

Man of mystery shall we say. He got us talking about him!

Either the computer rankings mean something or they don't. You can't have it both ways. Uconn is a #1 seed in all the metrics which factors in our total season to date, meaning with all the injuries. By us having 10 players now, we are even stronger. Creme can jump in the lake.
