I haven't had time to go through the thread on my lunch break but I just want to add one thing - For the better part of a year Nelson was squarely anti-#BegHarder. Now he's ripping Herbst for not begging hard enough. Brilliant.

Not at all an accurate portrayal of my position.

Telling is not selling. Watch my Glengarry clip again. #Begharder is not the same as selling the university. She needs to show other conferences that UConn will be one of the most valuable programs in the conference from opening kickoff in August to the final buzzer of the NCAA tournament in April. She has to make the ACC think that lots of conferences want to have UConn. That's what Louisville did.

In other words, CLOSE!!!!

Those are valid thoughts, but your past position was very clear: Beg harder didn't work in 2011, it wasn't going to work in the future, so we needed to get the NNBE contract to be competitive with everybody else. I don't need to copy your past posts for eveyone to know what I'm talking about.
