NOT A DIME BACK....

oh wait...i hope the media kills him for that...oh wait...they won't because he doesnt win anything

He acted like a baby and a pompous a** but no one actually cares because they suck. You win NC's like JC and you say "not a dime back" it's national news but the Orange coach calls one of ESPN's high profile reporters an idiot and disloyal and it's not reported. Explanation is simple - he's not Jim Calhoun and they're not UConn!!

.-.
If JB thinks it's bad now, just wait till the Cameron Crazies get all over him. The next time one of his "stellar" students screws up or is ineligible, they will be all over JB and the Cuse like stink on S***. We think he is a crybaby now? Duke will take it to a whole other level. Will almost make JB and Cuse long for the old days of the staid old Big East.

The disloyal comment is really interesting. Calling someone an idiot is one thing, but this idea that the media should be loyal to Syracuse? That explains a lot about the national treatment.

It is truly amazing what this guy, BOOhime gets away with... you would think he has 3 NCAA titles the way he acts.... or that he doesn't represent a place of higher learning... Karma is a bitch and its a matter of time before the skeletons are going to be revealed. and the list is long....really long

.-.
I don't get this schadenfreude at all. So we are mad/angry/jealous of Syracuse getting into the ACC and therefore we hate everything about them now? I've burned all that outrage, other than feeling this way about domino numero uno BC ;)

Boeheim didn't stamp his endorsement on the Nate Miles stories and any JCalhoun or UConn negative coverage. If we think certain parts of a college athletes life and record should be private than it goes for all schools. Sure Boeheim acted like a dick but if Calhoun had done the same thing to one of these investigative reporters' uncovering these important truths (sarcasm) we would have loved it.

I've already explained the difference . . .

Someone who cheats on his past wife, and then calls a reporter disloyal for doing his job and nothing else is a piece of work. I guess that's what happens when they take you away from normal society for thirty years and you live in a frozen tundra.

I'll be really curious to see what Katz writes about him next.

I look forward to hearing his press conference after listening to that all game, and getting jobbed by the refs.

Well I can't speak for everyone but I can't stand 'cuse because the weren't supportive of entry into the ACC and because their fans are pretty much all douchenozzels.

How this is not on the front page of the ESPN Mens BBall page is beyond me.
It's absolutely ridiculous that it's not on the overall homepage or ANYWHERE on the men's BB page. You have to wonder if Katz asked management not to run with this, otherwise allowing their top college basketball reporter to be treated like this is deplorable. I knew Syracuse influence on the media was strong but this is almost laughable. If this was Calhoun it would be all over the main page, no question about it.

I'll be really curious to see what Katz writes about him next.
In Katz follow up analysis of the game he was completely professional, no signs of bitterness towards Boeheim at all. I've always found Katz to be a true professional who doesn't go out of his way to criticize or protect anyone. Unless he pleaded with ESPN management not to run with this, he deserves a lot better.

The bizarre thing is that Boeheim talked a lot and had a lot to say about the Bernie Fine investigation. Who is he kidding?

It's simple really.

With Wolf, you have a player who is the German version of Shaquille O'Neal. He's nationally known and projected as the #1 overall pick in the draft.

With Boeheim, who really knows about him outside of Syracuse?

i assume espn knows it kinda botched the bernie fine thing and doesnt want to draw attention to it by making this a headline

Yeah, that's a bunch of BS. It would have come out by now. No way that stays quiet for a year and a half.

what would have come out? its pretty obvious espn made mistakes with their coverage

How did it botch it?
I don't think they botched it at all...the Chief of Police even said the original 2 were credible. The only way they botched it is by not reminding folks daily that Cuse had a child molestor on its bench.
