Calhoun would blow up in the heat of the moment, but this was planned, deliberate, and designed to embarrass a guy who is just doing his job. It's cause Syracuse is used to hiding behind student confidentiality restrictions because they're a private school. So when a reporter actually goes and starts digging to find information on his own(unlike the local media), Boeheim gets pissed.
