Realistically they wouldn’t play at all. We want our 8 or 9 best players getting all of the minutes because they are going to be the most talented players. Anyone signing on to be bench piece #11, 12, or 13 cannot expect anything more than walkon type of minutes

I think the lack of depth if there is an injury or two means picking up a guy like Hassan Diarra is very important. I'm thinking of Ollie's first year when they had only 6 scholarship players at the end of the year and Napier was out there playing on half an ankle.

unless yall think newton is averaging 40 mpg than diarra is going to play, a lot. like at least 15 mpg. that's nothing to whine about when gaffney was averaging 13 mpg for us last year.

Looking at just fan comments and stuff, seems like he was well liked at A&M, likely more than his stats indicated. Although I haven’t visited their version of the BY or anything.
(They may also just be a classier group of fans lol)
