Hey outlaw, I noticed that the Tavern is now a HA Pub Partner! Is there a story there?looking forward to some footy at Dillon!
No story that I'm aware of - Tavern has always been good about partnering with local teams/events.Hey outlaw, I noticed that the Tavern is now a HA Pub Partner! Is there a story there?
We're gonna get hammered before the game and march in there with our drums while humming brass bonanaza. Nothing will stop us now!Home Opener Tonight! Don't bother showing up without a ticket, it's a sellout!
I expect nothing less! We're gonna get hammered before the game and march in there with our drums while humming brass bonanza. Nothing will stop us now!
Because of him, this exists (your favorite version I imagine):Our fight song is humming Brass Bonanza? I got a better one.
Black hole sun, won't you come and wash away the rain, black hole sun, won't you come, won't you come....
Must say, very, very sad that Cornell's kids have to live with death threats now.
No but we still hum it regardless because a majority of the guys in our group are Whalers fans. I never got into hockey so I'll never understand the obsession for a team that fled south almost 25 years ago.🤷Our fight song is humming Brass Bonanza?
They have low self esteems and boost their egos reminding themselves we had a major league team 25 years ago.No but we still hum it regardless because a majority of the guys in our group are Whalers fans. As much as I love the green and blue it'd be nice to see a new team with a different color scheme for once.My guess on team colors would be neon blue and neon green
Finally, someone who agrees! For a city with a history like Hartford, green and blue is the best we can do?As much as I love the green and blue it'd be nice to see a new team with a different color scheme for once.
Wasn't that you? And why don't you worry about your own city? You could work on on bringing that women's team to Bridgeport. Finally, someone who agrees! For a city with a history like Hartford, green and blue is the best we can do?
I recall someone on here saying Hartford Athletic won't last past one season.
We already have two teams rocking the green and blue. I'm pretty sure that's more than enough to keep Whalers fans happy for the foreseeable future. For a city with a history like Hartford, green and blue is the best we can do?
I wonder why they thought that?I recall someone on here saying Hartford Athletic won't last past one season.
No, that was your beloved ZooCougar.Wasn't that you? And why don't you worry about your own city? You could work on on bringing that women's team to Bridgeport.
No, that was your beloved ZooCougar.
I don't have the funds for a NWSL team, plus, no desire for ownership. Bridgeport might be too close to NYC to pull off a New England designation. I did graduate from UConn and lived in Bristol for 6 years, so that's 10 years away from the shore. Was a Whalers fan growing up in Fairfield.
Sounds like you are rooting for them to fail. What kind of soccer fan are you?Given the USL track record of independent clubs it’s not a bad bet. We’ll see if it gets to year 5. How much money is this guy willing to lose?
