Glad you posted this - there are a lot of voices out there that no one would call 'great', but they carry so much more than just the tune. One of my favorites is:

This is the one Dylan song I enjoy hearing him sing. Otherwise I don't like his voice.
 
Oh boy, here's one I think we missed - the wonderful Sandy Denny of Fairport Convention:
