OT: great voices

My favorite song by them, used to hear it quite a bit back in the 70's, and I still hear it on occasion on Sirius radio's "Deep Tracks":

Highlights her range and a good pick for a favorite. First saw them in 1972 I think it was and then several times after, last being at Infinity in Norfolk in 2011.

Melissa Bonny is better-known for a couple of other bands. This came out when she was about 21 or 22. It's from one of my favorite albums of the last ten years or so, but she left them soon after. None of her other stuff is nearly as good.

On certain songs I really love Bob Dylan's voice - like this one:

Exactly - a particular voice, say on a particular song, can have impact you can't help but notice. A good example I think is Mick Jagger on "Moonlight Mile". I don't think he has a "great" voice by any definition, but his voice for the Stones fits in perfectly, and he sings M.M. with such conviction and beauty:

2. Eric Clapton
3 Steve Winwood
