Gillespie with a nasty knee injury

Hope it’s not that bad but admittedly didn’t look good! Hope he’s ok feel for him.

Hope he’s ok. If he is injured who would we rather draw on our side of the bracket. Nova or Creighton?

It looked bad at first, but then he got up and walked off the court. He's in the locker room now under his own power.

Even if it's not serious, knee injuries can linger. That's not good for his availability next week.

He seemed to somewhat recover quickly so hopefully its not anything major, but it didn’t look good

Feel bad watching his family cry. Tough timing. I won’t be surprised to see him back on the court before the end of the season though. Could be a sprain and he’s back in a couple weeks, and they can survive without him until then.

I blew mine out in a pickup game, once the initial shock wore off I could walk around until it swelled up. His went sideways, no bueno.

I've watched a couple times. I keep missing what exactly happened. Hyper-extension of some kind?

I haven't been high on Creighton all season but they look like a team that's distracted.

Really hope Gillespie comes back for the tournament but doesn't look great.

Hopefully it’s just a tweak and he’s back soon. Never wish something like that on someone.

Maybe distracted by their coach's recent comments.

Hope its just a minor strain that keeps him out 2 weeks and then back for the NCAA tourney....

I’ve seen that happen a few times in football and it almost always seems to be torn ligaments, usually an acl. Hopefully it’s not that serious.

Nova looks really good even without Gillespie.

Creighton cuts it to 5 (and just had a 3 rim out that would have cut it to 2).

I've dealt with family who were Villanova fans. And that was before I had family actually graduate from there. They laughed at the "Patrick Can You Read This?" signs.

So, I don't care about Gillespie. There wasn't anything dirty or intentional. He got hurt. Part of the game. And I feel no remorse not feeling remorse over his injury affecting Nover going forward.

doesn't look like Gillespie can put any weight on his injured side. not a good sign

Jay Wright just said their team doctor said its a serious injury. Things just got very very interesting if that is the case

I saw a kid walk off after tearing an ACL in a soccer game. Temporary mobility.
