I’ve personally been encouraged by the version of AG we’ve seen the latter part of the year. His defense has been spectacular and he’s our best PG bringing the ball up court. With that said, if there’s a no brainer late replacement like a bigger guard who can shoot, I’d prefer that. All depends on how the numbers shake out.

If AG could just hit his FTs and limit the TOs he would make for a great 5th year player.

He struggles with those two aspects of his game making him a potential liability late in games.

As we have seen first hand this year, making the NCAAs comes down to just a few game and a few points.

But AG has been much better on decisions, has made some big FTs and is easily the best defender on the team. He's been better than Gaffney down the stretch but there's no reason to throw him back as the starter, things are working in a positive manner.
