In perusing the Georgetown site, the Hoyas have been off for 10 days due to exams. This is their first game after the break, hope they're not rusty. Ah, just checked Miami's site - they had a 6 day break, a game vs Louisiana-Monroe, then another 5 days off. Call it even.

Tipoff is scheduled for 5 p.m., at McDonough Arena. The game will be broadcast tape delayed on Verizon FiOS with Monika Moore on the call and Georgetown alum Monica McNutt doing color.

I've suspected for a bit that Miami is not a marquee win. For that matter, Rutgers will be proven not to be either.

I may have regarded Miami too highly. I thought they were the better team. On the other hand, G'town struggled early. I thought they missed McNutt. They are playing much better of late.

Gee, I should have gone, paid my $5 at the door, and walked into McDonough. I do hope to see EDD vs. Maryland next Thursday.
